Maintenance Services
The Association is committed to providing good quality housing and services. It is obliged to carry out certain repairs, although the tenant does have a responsibility for some repairs (detailed in their Tenancy Agreement), and there are detailed performance standards. The main role of the Maintenance Section is to ensure the Association's responsibilities are met and that our tenants receive a first class maintenance and improvement service.
Planned Maintenance
A planned programme of improvements is implemented by the Planned Maintenance Co-ordinator, this includes works such as, installing and updating central heating systems and installing PVC-u windows. The Association also carries out adaptations to properties, to improve the facilities and access for disabled tenants.
Gas Maintenance
As a Landlord, the Association has a statutory obligation to ensure it services and maintains all of its gas appliances, in all of its properties on an annual basis. This programme is overseen by the Technical Officer (Heating).
Grounds Maintenance
There are many green areas attached to estates, sheltered schemes, parking areas, etc. which the Association maintains – this work is supervised by the Technical Officer (Grounds Maintenance). The Association also assists elderly and disabled tenants with their garden maintenance.
