Contacting Us if You Have Special Needs

The Association is committed to providing customers with easy access to all of its services. We believe in and are committed to equal treatment for all of our customers. We value diversity, and we seek to reduce disadvantages people experience by making our services more responsive to community and individual needs.

Office Interviews

Our office is wheelchair accessible with a wheelchair accessible toilet in our reception area and in our training/boardroom suite. All office interviews are conducted in interview rooms in complete privacy. However, it may be necessary at busy times to wait until an interview room is available. Please contact us in advance to arrange an appointment for an interview as this may save your time and a possible wasted journey.

Home Visits

If you cannot get to our office easily, please contact us and we will arrange an interview in your home at a mutually convenient time.

Deaf or Tenants With Partial Hearing

We have a portable loop system in our reception which is also available for use in our interview rooms. Tenants who need the help of a sign language interpreter at interviews should contact us beforehand so that arrangements can be made.

Blind or Partially Sighted Tenants

If you, or someone you know, has difficulty reading any of our documents or letters, please contact us and we can arrange a copy in braille or on tape.

If English is Not Your First Language

We use a telephone interpretation service for visitors or callers who do not speak English. If you, or someone you know, has difficulty in reading any of our documents or letters please contact us.
