Tenancy Services
Within the Operations Division, the role of the Tenancy Services team encompasses management of the Association's housing and garage stock, short-stay accommodation for homeless applicants, Advice and Support and administration of rents.
Tenancy Services
Supervised by the Assistant Manager, there are 6 Tenancy Management Officers and one Housing Assistant dealing with issues arising from tenancy conditions and covering a “patch” of 600-800 properties.
Any reports of breaches of tenancy conditions are handled by the Tenancy Management Officers, e.g. neighbour complaints, anti-social behaviour, arrears of rent, etc. The team also monitors general maintenance of estates, such as communal and green areas.
Rent Payment
Tenants can pay their rent by post, on the internet, by telephone at Acton Court or at Post Offices throughout the district in a variety of ways such as cash, cheque, credit/debit card, Direct Debit or the Association's own swipe card.
The Tenancy Services team maintains all rent accounts and takes recovery action where appropriate.
Internal Decorating and Grass Cutting
Tenants who may have difficulty in undertaking their own decorating and grass cutting, such as elderly or disabled tenants, may ask for assistance from the Association through Tenancy Services.
