What does South Staffordshire Housing Association do?

  • We have over 5,000 properties and provide housing for around 450 new tenants every year
  • We have 14 sheltered housing schemes
  • We are committed to maintaining affordable rent levels
  • We provide a community alarm to over 3,000 tenants and private householders
  • We have our own maintenance facilities encompassing all types of tradesmen, full support facilities and the additional back up of specialist contractors
  • We have a £5 million per year improvement programme that includes fitting new kitchens to all properties
  • We are committed to providing a first class service with a dedicated customer services team
  • We have an active Tenant Partnership, who look at policies, procedures and the performance of the Association, and have 4 members on our Board of Management
  • We are committed to forging new partnerships to provide more affordable housing
  • We are committed to working with the local community in a wide range of activities, initiatives and sponsorship
