Mutual Exchange

A mutual exchange is a great way to move house. You simply swap your property with another tenant through an assignment of tenancy so you don't need to apply through our My Homefinder waiting list.

SSHA is currently in the process of phasing out the existing mutual exchange scheme and replacing it with a new service provided by HomeSwapper. The HomeSwapper service will hold details of mutual exchanges within South Staffordshire as well as details of those wishing to move here from outside the district.

We have funded this service to enable our tenants to register FREE of charge. Registration can be carried out via the internet at www.HomeSwapper.co.uk. Once you have registered, you will be able to pop on line and view matches as well as HomeSwapper emailing you at regular intervals with details of suitable exchange partners.
