Back to Work Club in Bilbrook and Codsall

Job hunters in Bilbrook and Codsall are being offered an opportunity to get back to work at a new work club which is opening in Bilbrook on Thursday, September 15.

To launch the work club there is an employment fair being held from 10am to 12pm at Bilbrook Childrens Centre at Lane Green First School. People who are out of work and are looking for a helping hand to get a job can get advice and support from employment experts and businesses, as well as gaining formal qualifications.   Job seekers will also get top tips and advice about preparing CV’s, filling in online job applications, writing covering letters, interview techniques and job searching. The employment fair will give you the opportunity to: 

• Speak with large local employers such as, MOOG and Cargill’s
• Access information on potential local job opportunities and how to apply for them
• Speak with various support agencies and experts for advice
• Access volunteering opportunities that may lead to work

Councillor David Billson, deputy leader at South Staffordshire Council said:“We want to do everything we can to help local people back into work.
