Residents of Huntington are being urged to share their thoughts on where they live.
Huntington Pride is all about different agencies working together with the local community in Huntington, to encourage residents to take pride in their village, and working together to improve quality of services. Through the project there will be a week long community engagement week from 14th – 18th March.
A variety of agencies including South Staffordshire Housing Association, South Staffordshire Council, Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service will be in and around the village all week between 2pm-7pm, to talk to residents about their thoughts of the village.
The week offers a chance for residents to ‘make a difference’ by making agencies aware of problems there may be in the village such as litter or parking, and also to offer their thoughts on possible up and coming improvements such as a new children’s play park.
If you are interested in taking part please look out for the trailer which will be visiting various sites including: - Midland Road Estate, Lowland Road Estate, The Dog in Tree Estate, Littleton Primary School and the Caravan park.
