Fair Landlord

Our Fair Landlord approach is helping us do more with our rental income.

As a not-for-profit organisation, the rent that we receive is invested in homes and services for customers and communities.

The government’s announcement of reductions in most social housing rents means that our income has fallen. We have had to make some difficult decisions about the services that we provide. Making fair choices about services which are fair to the majority of customers are at the heart of the decisions we make as a landlord.

We are working hard to make your rent go further, identifying savings so that we can keep doing the work that is important to you:

  • Replacing kitchens and bathrooms
  • Fitting new energy efficient boilers
  • Investing in the award-winning Home MOT programme
  • Building new homes to support local communities

Fair Landlord changes

From 1st July 2017, we have introduced a number of changes under Fair Landlord.
