Families invited to Fair for the Future

South Staffordshire Housing Association (SSHA) is holding a family fun day for its residents, as an opportunity to find out more about the work it does and the services it delivers.

A ‘Fair for the Future’ is promising to be a fun day out, as well as an opportunity for residents to have their say in the future of how the association manages their homes.

The event will take place on Saturday June 22, 2013, from 10am to 2pm and is open to all SSHA residents. It is being held at Aldersley Leisure Village, in Wolverhampton.

Fair For the Future is an important event for all SSHA residents, giving them a great opportunity to shape a £30million home improvement project, have a say in how services are delivered in future and also to understand how government changes to welfare benefits may affect them.

There will be free face-painting, ice cream van, fun fair games, entertainment and food for all guests.

Rachel Chudley, head of housing at SSHA, said: “This is a great free day out for all the family. It gives our residents the chance to meet members of staff to ask questions, get information and find out more about the work we are doing.

“There will be staff available to give advice on welfare changes, our home improvement programme, to discuss our services and hear what residents want to see us deliver, plus an opportunity for staff to ask residents how they want us to communicate with them.”
